Balochistan

Balochistan:
Balochistan (Balochi, Pashto, Urduبلوچِستان‎, is one of the  provinces of Pakistan, located in the southwestern region of the country. Its provincial capital and largest city is Quetta. It shares borders with Punjab and theFederally Administered Tribal Areas to the northeast, Sindh to the southeast, the Arabian Sea to the south, Iran to the west, and Afghanistan to the north.
Most of the province's inhabitants are Baloch people, Pashtuns and Brahuis, although there are smaller communities of Hazaras,SindhisPunjabis, and other settlers such as the Uzbeks, and Turkmens. The name Balochistan means "the land of the Baloch" in many regional languages.
Ziarat
is a district and a famous hill station located in the north of province of Balochistan. It is a famous holiday resort of Balochistan. Nearly every trip from Karachi to Quetta stops at Ziarat. Khalifat Hills are the highest peak with an altitude of 11,400 feet in Ziarat district. Ziarat has the highest ‘Human Development Index’ of all districts of Balochistan.
Ziarat
Gwadar city, famous for the warm water deep sea port of Gwadar, is located on the south-western Arabian Sea shore in coastal area of Balochistan, Pakistan. It is situated about 460 kilometers (286 miles) from the city of Karachi and 75 kilometers from Iranian border. It is the capital of Gwadar District. It also works as winter capital for the province of Balochistan. Population of Gwadar, according to estimates of 2006 was 53,080.
Astola Island also called Astole is situated is Balochistan Province of Pakistan. It is also known as ‘Jezira Haft Talar’ or ‘Island of the seven Hills. It is an uninhabited island in the Arabian Sea. The Island is a part of Pasni sub-district of Gwadar District.
The ruins of Punnu Fort (also called Punnu’s Fort) are sited about 15km from Turbat, a city in southern part of Balochistan. According to archaeologists Punnu Fort could date back to 6000-8000 BC.

Hingol National Park

Hingol National Park is located along the Makran Coast in Balochistan. It is one the most exciting and adventurous  spot, adorned with a variety of topographical features. Hingol park is best known for supporting the rare species of Sindh Ibex, Balochistan Urial and Chinkara Gazelle.
Gwadar City

The emerging Gwadar city is located on the Arabian Sea Coastline in Balochistan. It is an underdevelopment free trade port that is famous for its aqua blue beach spots.
Ormara

Ormara is a  small town located in  the Gwadar District of Balochistan. The area is engulfed with deserted mountains and water springs that will give you a wonderful summer treat.
Hanna Lake

Hanna Lake is a small lake located at a distance of 14 km from Quetta. The lake is famous for its central reservoir, golden fish habitat,  lakeside restaurants and well organized water sports.
